Because she was such a sensation in our first episode, Julie Piatt is back for more. Today we talk about food — as energy, vibration and medicine. How Julie healed herself with nutrition and meditation. The perils of the word “vegan”. What it means to be Plantpowered. And getting back to food as a global uniter.
Thanks to your overwhelming support, I woke up this morning to see that our little show hit #1 on iTunes in the Fitness / Nutrition category and #2 in Health. Amazing. We will do our best to live up to the early praise and continue to provide the best content we can. Thank you!

Loving the podcast, thank you both!
Peple get piss off when you tell them you are vegan because they think that you think you are better than them in any way…-and they take it like an attack, very personally. And that you place yourself at a higher ground then them and you judge them like a lesser being or something like that…I guess that’s one of the explanations…I’m sure there are more out there…from other angles of views…

that is exactly what we talk about in this episode.
Rich and Julie… the podcasts continue to be outstanding! I am a firm believer that people come into our lives when they are meant to – and your ‘stuff’ is totally resonating with me. I have also heard the idea of “meditation” screaming at me from every podcast, which is telling me that this is what I need more of in my life. Keep up the great work, it’s changing lives!
Loved this podcast (the book is just a great jumping off point for how totally awesome you guys are!!! =) I especially liked the conversation about cooking. I’m a “from scratch” cook. The only thing in cans or boxes in our house are Muir Glen tomatoes!!! I’m so proud to shop at WholeFoods and not need to go down the aisles. I stick to the outside areas of the store! Two boys and a hubby need foods that will enrich their bodies! I cook different meals for each child to enhance their strengths. Most people think I’m crazy, but I feel that they each need something different. Thank you for this wonderful podcast!!!!!!!
Finished this episode. I laughed hard when you all talked about announcing “I’m Vegan”. As a strict Paleo follower, I get lots of strange looks b/c many restuarnt servers have NO idea what that means. Last night I had to order my meal with no butter and then got a “are you crazy” look when I asked for coconut milk with my after dinner coffee!! I totally get that!!!
Thank you Rich and Julie for sharing your inspiring conversations and perspectives on living a nature-powered life.
Amazing. Thank you!
